Camp Confession2

CAL CAMP was the best! To start off with, there is no better way to study such a tedious subject like calculus than to just really immerse yourself in it; but who really does that throughout the year? Or even by their own accord when studying by themselves before the AP exams? No one, that’s who. It’s not because of laziness, but life tends gets in the way. Its either other classes, work, chores, clubs, MySpace, Facebook, etc., but SOMETHING becomes distracting. That’s exactly the point to Cal Camp. Its a few days of vacation from every other responsibility in order to give calculus the proper attention. Obviously, seeing as you are all still in AP Calculus, you care about the AP test; so, why not give yourself the best opportunity to receive your best score? Cal Camp is a MUCH needed review, because you forget what you sucked at and you need brushing up on most other things. PLUS, doing the calculus isn’t a drag, like it may seem; its not just a bunch of assigned problems that you just turn in. It’s really uncovering your own mathematical skills so that you personally know how to tackle the AP exam. Now, with that said, it is SUCH a BLAST. You’re with your friends, not only studying, but having so much fun. I remember playing Taboo until 4am and hide and seek outside in the pitch dark. The observatory was amazing; the planets were beautiful. The stars are gorgeous since you can ACTUALLY see them, unlike in the city. For sure, though, the best part about Cal Camp, as cheesy as it may sound, is that we, as a class, really bonded. Cal camp was an incredible experience and it would be impossible to forget or even avoid smiling when thinking of it. Ms. Hwang is an amazing person and she’s so fun. You’d really be denying yourself an awesome time, if you pass up Cal Camp.
